In some instances, Appeals are simply inevitable. But before even filing an Appeal, we always like to give the trial judge an opportunity to right his/her erroneous rulings if possible. This is known as a Motion to Reconsider. Should this motion not meet the desired success, we then move into the next phase, which is an outright appeal to the Appellate Court.
